I stayed here one night when I was touring on my motorbike. Staff were very friendly and the site is in great condition. There were two toilet/shower blocks. Plus a drinks/food trailer. You're a 5 min walk from the pub, with sensational views (but do book for food). Recommended. Also, the other bikers were very friendly, which made the stay extra special.
Large campsite but well and tightly run operation. Toilet and shower blocks were spotless, and pitch areas were clean and clear. Short walk downhill into town where there's a good pub. Really handy location overall actually, just on one end of the famous pass. The breakfast and coffee booth they run in the morning is handy too!
We stayed here for one night on our NC500 route. We were able to upgrade to an electric pitch with ease. Lovely site with great walks close by. We are at the local pub which was superb. Facilities are shower sink and toilet in one room which was handy but very cold at the same time but you can’t help the weather. 3 Red Deer stags were mooching around the nearby gardens which was nice to see. Small park for little ones. Would recommend and would use again.
We weren't aware that the only spots with ocean view are the fixed caravan sites. Apart from that, two sanitary blocks and a small street kitchen selling food in the evening and in the mornings. We arrived from the north circling the peninsula anticlockwise, which offered stunning views. Moved on the next day over the mountain pass which is in itself an adventure
Beautiful location, clean toilet and shower facilities, friendly staff. They helped us out in the middle of the night when storm Betty blew down our tent. Highly recommended.
We were here for one night and had brilliant experience. The place is gorgeous, facilities are clean and tidy, pub nearby is a gem. Would definitely recommend that place!
I've camped in a tent here and stayed in the pods. Great wee campsite. Clean and good facilities. Plan ahead if looking to go somewhere for dinner. Some amenities locally are closed on certain days or have restricted opening hours due to the staffing shortage in the Highlands and present
Great campsite! Good facilities, food truck on site sometimes, great food. Staff friendly, good sunset, WiFi, easy walk into the village where there are deer. Would definitely visit again. Bacon rolls at the pub by the sea in the morning fyi, 5 min walk 10/10
